DEFENDER Damien McCrory has returned to Burton Albion following the expiration of his loan deal with Portsmouth.
The 27-year-old joined Pompey on deadline day in a loan deal until January 2nd, but returned to the Pirelli Stadium earlier than expected to receive treatment on a knee injury which he picked up in Portsmouth's 4-1 victory against Fleetwood back in September.
McCrory made three appearances for Pompey, winning two and losing one. He played five times for the Brewers in the early part of the season, including three times in the Sky Bet Championship.
