SCANNELL GOES BACK TO HUDDERSFIELD AFTER PICKING UP INJURY

6 January 2018

SEAN Scannell has returned to Huddersfield after picking up a groin injury in training.

The on-loan striker will be out of action for five to six weeks and therefore the Brewers have seen him return to his parent club.

Andy Garner says: "He pulled up in training the other day. It was the last five minutes of training and unfortunately it is quite bad. As it could be more than two months before he's fit to play again it probaby makes sense to get someone else in. We thank him for everything he has done for us."
