WILL Miller is back in training and has targeted being ready for the Brewers first League One game of the season.
The 22-year-old suffered a serious knee injury in the 3-1 defeat to QPR back in January which kept him out for the rest of the season.
It has been a frustrating time for the former Tottenham Hotspur player who was in good form in the games leading up to the injury.
Miller said: “I have been out for a while so I’m looking forward to getting back into it. The injury has come a long way. There were a couple of months around February and March where it was difficult but now I’m making good progress
“It’s really frustrating but it’s part of the game and you just have to accept it.”
Although Miller was taking part in training on the first day back, he’s still not quite ready for all the activities, but hopes to be quickly back up to speed.
He said: I’m doing a lot of work with the physios – running and ball work. Being ready for the first game of the season is still definitely the aim.”
