MARCUS Dinanga has joined Hartlepool United on a season-long loan.
The Academy graduate has enjoyed fruitful spells out on-loan in recent seasons, having been prolific for Matlock Town in the Northern Premier League, and later AFC Telford United in the National League North.
The 21-year-old will now have the chance to make the step-up into the highest-tier of non-league football, hoping to continue his impressive scoring record.
Manager Nigel Clough said: “Marcus has scored goals for Matlock and the for Telford in the National League North. The next step-up is to score goals in the National League.
“There are still a few players who are ahead of Marcus. We have Marcus Harness and Joe Sbarra, so there is no point in keeping him around as the 19th or 20th man when he could go out and keep getting experience. Young players like him need to play.”
