AN update on how the Academy scholars who are out on-loan got on at their respective clubs over the weekend.
Callum Hawkins started for Gresley FC and kept a clean sheet in the Northern Premier League Division One South as the Moatmen beat Corby Town 2-0. Gresley have moved up to 19th in the league and have three games in hand on Newcastle Town, who are one place above them.
Charlie Oddy played for Uttoxeter Town in a 4-1 win over Chelmsley Town. Joe Brown is also currently on-loan with Uttoxeter. The club said on their official twitter account that: Charlie did really well when he came on and both he and Joe fitted in well and they were a credit to Burton Albion Academy and thanks for letting them play and be a part of us.
James Harrison started for Daventry Town in their 3-1 defeat to Wellingborough Town. Kyle Clamp featured for Stapenhill FC in a 4-2 defeat to Birstall United.
