ONE lucky person from the general public will get the chance to take part in the celebrity football match at the Pirelli Stadium.
Burton Albion and Burton Albion Community Trust are looking for nominations for a ālocal heroā to take part in the fixture, which will see that person line-up against a host of well-known celebrities in a star-studded fixture at the Pirelli Stadium.
An unsung hero or inspirational person, will get the chance to rub shoulders with soap stars, TV favourites and pop artists that are among the celebrities who will play in the match at the home of Burton Albion on Sunday, April 29 ā kick off 3pm.
The proceeds of the game will go to help support the adult and junior disability programmes delivered by Burton Albionās charity arm.
Matt Hancock, Head of Community, said: āTo be able to give someone from the local community a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as a reward for their efforts, is an opportunity that we felt we had to give to somebody. Weāre now on the hunt for a somebody who deserves special recognition as a local hero! Itās going to be a fantastic occasion and we look forward to announcing even more star names in the next few weeksā.

Stephen Graham (Gangs of New York/Pirates of the Caribbean); Shayne Ward (Coronation Street); Alex Beattie (Love Island); Calum Best (TV); Chris Hughes (Love Island); Jake Wood (soap star); Dan Osborne (Towie); Liam Gatsby (Towie); Dean Gaffney (soap star); Jamie Borthwick (soap star); Danny Boy Hatchard (soap star); Franky Fryer (Soccer Am); James Argent (Towie); Simon Webbe (pop group Blue); Jimmy Constable (pop group 911); Jamie O'Hara (Celebrity Big Brother); MC Harvey (TV/So Solid) and Matt Lapinskas (actor - Anthony Moon/Dancing On Ice).
Celebrities appearing at the game are subject to change, however, we will shortly be announcing more exciting names in the coming weeks leading up to the game.
The two teams will have celebrity managers/captains. It will be a Calum Best XI versus a Jake Wood XI and they will be joined by some Burton Albion legends and well-known football stars.

Car parking is available at Ā£5 per vehicle at the Pirelli Stadium on a first come, first served basis on the day. Hospitality guests will have reserved parking.
