IN preparation for the start of the 2018/19 football season three weeks of essential pitch groundworks will be undertaken at the Pirelli Stadium.
From Monday, May 21, for three weeks the north east corner of the car park adjacent to the Derby Road will be a works-only compound for contractors carrying out the ground works. During this period there will be strictly no access to anyone other than contractors’ staff.
There will be no public access through this area meaning that it’s not possible to walk or drive through the site from Derby Road to Princess Way whilst the works take place. Pedestrians will have to walk along Derby Road to the Princess Way island.
There will be no disruption to the day-to-day business operation and the club shop will be open as normal during this period and pedestrian and vehicle access will be via Princess Way.
