BEN Fox is hoping that his versatility will give him a better chance of gaining experience in the team.

Fox has so far played in a number of positions in both defence and midfield, with the Academy graduate playing the full-90 minutes at right back in the victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

Fox admits that he is happy to play anywhere he can in order to gain experience of playing in the first team.

“It is important to have players in the squad who can play in numerous positions. If I am one of those players, fantastic. It gives me another opportunity to get into the starting XI and to get game time on the pitch.

“I am all for it because that it what I want to do, I want to play as much football as I can. I want to gain as much experience as I can. Hopefully I can do a job whenever I am on the pitch and put the gaffer’s faith in me.”
