JAKE Hesketh’s volley against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup fourth round has been nominated for Goal of the Round.
Hesketh struck his second goal for the Brewers on Tuesday night when he smashed home Scott Fraser’s cross to put Albion 3-1 up.
The goal proved crucial as Forest pulled another goal back late in the game to make it a tense final few minutes, as Nigel Clough’s side progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time in the club’s history.
