YOUNG BREWERS LOAN UPDATE

5 November 2018

TWO Young Brewers were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend.

Kyle Clamp made his debut for Mickleover Sports on Saturday, having joined the club on a work experience loan on Friday. The forward has scored against Hartlepool United, Oldham Athletic and Mansfield Town this season, as well as Coventry City in the FA Youth Cup. Clamp started the match as a substitute, coming on for the final 12 minutes of the game.

Oilver Fairbrother made his fifth appearance of the season for Gresley FC. The goalkeeper was on the losing end of the result, as the Moatmen were beaten 1-0 by Spalding United, having been unbeaten in his four previous outings at The Moat.

Academy graduate Marcus Dinanga played the full 90 minutes for Hartlepool United as they were beaten 4-0 by Bromley in the National League. Dinanga is on a season long loan at Victoria Park.

Sam Rose, PDP Lead Coach and Academy Loans Coordinator, said 'We are delighted that Kyle and Oliver have joined Mickleover and Gresley. We know all too well that the experience of playing a competitve level of football is invaluable for players of their age. The likes of Ben Fox, Reece Hutchinson and Callum Hawkins all had important loan spells away from the club before breaking in to the squad at First Team level. We are actively working with a number of local clubs to develop these opportunities for our players.'
