BURTON Albion Football Club Academy are looking to appoint an Academy Player Performance Coach to lead the development of players' individual action plans in the Professional Development Phase and the gifted and talented players throughout the Academy.

The successful candidate will assist Professional Development Phase staff with planning and delivery in training and matches and will work with Academy analysts, reviewing matches and training footage to aid development of the teams and individual players.

In addition, the successful candidate will work alongside the Academy Welfare and Safeguarding Officer with regards to Academy players' mental strength and resilience and will work in line with Burton Albion Football Club’s Academy Performance Plan and aid the development and progression of the plan. 

Applicants will preferably hold a UEFA ‘A’ licence coaching badge, FA Advanced Youth Award and FA Sports Psychology Award. Applicants must hold a UEFA ‘B’ licence coaching badge, FA Youth Module 1, 2, and 3, Safeguarding certificate and EFAIF certificate. 

It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to commence employment with the club in December. 

Employment with BAFC is conditional upon a satisfactory Enhanced DBS, references and confirmation of qualifications.
