BREWERS SUPPORT CHILDREN IN NEED

16 November 2018

BREWERS players Damien McCrory and Elliot Hodge were on hand this afternoon to show their support for the BBC Children In Need appeal for 2018.

Staff from Burton Albion Community Trust led the event in Burton Town Centre, Cooper’s Square, taking on a number of fitness challenges to see how many miles they could travel throughout the day.

Billy and Bettie Brewer were on hand, also taking part in fitness challenges and collecting proceeds for the appeal.

Defender, Damien McCrory, said: “The work that Burton Albion Community Trust do at events like this is fantastic. It’s a vital part of achieving what the club aims to do in the community.

“Ever since I’ve been at Burton, it continues to amaze me how much work goes on locally.

“I’ll be watching Children In Need tonight with my family and I’m glad to be able to say that I’ve helped and played my part this afternoon.”
