BREWERS STARS OPEN NEW MUGA AT RIVER VIEW PRIMARY SCHOOL

10 October 2018

FIRST team players Stephen Bywater and John Brayford visited River View Primary School in Stapenhill yesterday to open their new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).

Both players took time out to visit the school as part of the opening, which coincided with a school activity day.

The players took part in a penalty shoot-out, followed by a 5-a-side game against the school’s football team.

Matt Hancock, Head of Community, said: “It was great that we could have two players representing Burton Albion for the opening of another fantastic community facility.

“River View Primary is one of our main partner schools and we are delighted that we could support them with the event and with how the event went.

“Stephen Bywater and John Brayford are excellent ambassadors for the club and they were absolutely fantastic in how they conducted themselves to make the appearance that extra bit special.”
