JAMIE Allen says that the Brewers can take positives from the number of chances that they are creating, although the midfielder concedes that they must be more clinical if they are to turn their form around.
Allen has scored in wins over Sunderland and Burnley this season. However, the Brewers have not won any of their last four games in all competitions, despite creating a good number of chances in all four games.
The former Rochdale man says that the fact that Albion are creating so much does give the team confidence, but having a clinical edge will be key to picking up more points.
He said: “It has obviously been a disappointed changing room. We are making the chances, but we just need to put them away. I would be more worried if we were not creating chances and not playing well.
“I don’t think the performances have been a lot different (to those against Aston Villa, Sunderland and Burnley), we have been as intense as we were in those games, but we have not been as ruthless in front of goal.
“We have probably created better chances (in the defeats), maybe we are snatching at chances.”
