MIDFIELDER Ben Fox says that he will work his hardest for the team, no matter if he is in the starting line-up or coming off the bench for the Brewers.
The Young Brewer, who is a graduate of the Burton Albion Academy, started on the bench in the 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers, but was introduced in the second-half, replacing Scott Fraser, and went on to score the winning goal in stoppage time.
Fox admits that he would love to work his way into the starting line-up, but says that his work ethic will not change whether his starts on the pitch or on the bench.
He said: “I have just got to do as much as I can when I get the opportunity. The gaffer has been brilliant with all of the youngsters opportunities and if I am in his thoughts come Saturday, then brilliant.
“If I am starting then I will work my hardest and my best, because that is what I want, and fingers crossed that it happens, but if not then I will get my head down and go again.”
