DEFENDER Reece Hutchinson has joined the Brewers doubtful list for tomorrow night’s Fourth Round Carabao Cup tie at home to Nottingham Forest (7.45pm kick off).
The fullback came off in the second half against Peterborough with a tight hamstring and joins fellow defenders Damien McCrory and Ben Turner on the injured list.
Albion manager Nigel Clough says: “We are not sure about Reece Hutchinson at this stage and Damien McCrory is the same. Ben Turner – it is probably a little bit too soon for him. “
Marvin Sordell is also a doubt with a hip injury.
Clough said: “Marvin did a bit of training on Friday, so we will have to assess him today to see if he can be involved.”
The Brewers will also be without striker Devante Cole – who is cup tied.
David Templeton and Scott Fraser did however come on as second half substitutes against Peterborough as they come back from injury.
Clough said: “We got Templeton and Fraser back on the pitch on Saturday which was a bonus. They came through with no ill effects and will be involved.
