NIGEL Clough and the first team squad have taken time out from training to meet this season’s Junior Brewers.
The young fans were invited to the Pirelli Stadium to meet their Brewers heroes just a day after the Carabao Cup victory over Nottingham Forest.
As well as having a group picture taken in the main stand, the young fans were able to get their shirts, programmes and other souvenirs signed by the players.
Everyone then went over to the 3G pitch for fun and football games, including penalty taking with the Brewers players.
It’s all part of the exciting Junior Brewers programme and lots of the youngsters and their families turned up at the Pirelli Stadium to take part.
Albion manager Nigel Clough said: “It’s always a pleasure to meet our young fans and the players look forward to it as much as they do.
“It was especially good this year as everyone was on a high after the thrill of the Carabao Cup victory last night.”
Junior Brewers co-ordinator Reece Brown said: “We want to thank the manager and the players for coming to see the Junior Brewers and for making it a day to remember.
“These youngsters are the next generation of Burton Albion fans and are an important part of the football club.”
