PREVIEW: BREWERS VS BURNLEY

THE Brewers face Sean Dyche’s Burnley this evening as they look to progress into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

HEAD 2 HEAD

Only two competitive meetings have ever taken place between the two sides, both of which came in cup competitions.

Albion have never beaten Burnley and have conceded a total nine goals across those two fixtures.

 

BURTON ALBION TEAM NEWS 

Nigel Clough will assess the fitness of defensive duo Jake Buxton and John Brayford ahead of tonight’s fixture, while goalkeeper Harry Campbell (flu) did not train on Monday.

 

BURNLEY TEAM NEWS

Manager Sean Dyche has confirmed that Belgium international midfielder Steven Defour could play some part in the in tonight’s game.

 

OFFICIALS

Robert Jones has refereed six Championship matches this season and has given out 23 yellow cards. He has awarded one penalty but is yet to issue a red card this campaign.

 

TICKET INFORMATION 

The West Stand will be closed for this evening’s game, but cash turnstiles will be open for the North Stand. Supporters had been given the opportunity to purchase tickets for the West Stand. However, due to limited demand for tickets, the home stand behind the goal will be closed to supporters for our Carabao Cup Third Round fixture against Burnley on Tuesday, September 25. 

Any supporters that have already purchased a ticket for the West Stand will be able to use their match ticket to gain admission to the North Stand.

Burnley supporters hoping to pay on the day will be able to gain admission to the East Stand, behind the goal, through a cash turnstile.

17-22 - £20.00
Under-17 - £12.00


Terrace:
Adult - £17.00
Senior - (65+) - £15.00
17-22 - £12.00
