BARNSLEY match-day volunteer Stephen Croft will be leading the teams out on Saturday six months after suffering a cardiac arrest on the Oakwell pitch.
The Albion players spotted his distress last September when the Brewers were about to begin the away fixture at Barnsley and physio Nick Fenton raced over to give him medical attention.
The game was called off after the Air Ambulance came to Oakwell and was re-arranged and played in February.
Stephen, who is now on the road to recovery, came to the Brewers' dressing room for the re-arranged game to meet the Brewers squad and receive an Albion shirt.
Now he and his family have been invited to enjoy hospitality at Saturday’s home fixture against Barnsley and Stephen has been given the honour of leading out the teams.
