JAKE Buxton and Scott Fraser are Nigel Clough’s biggest injury concerns as the Brewers travel to Scunthorpe tomorrow.
Both players came off late in the game at Sunderland on Tuesday and are now doubtful for the game tomorrow.
David Templeton will again miss out with his knee injury.
Will Miller has recovered from the illness that kept him out of the squad at Sunderland and will be available for selection.
The Brewers manager said: “Jake is the main problem, he’s doubtful but not ruled out yet. His calf tightened up on Tuesday. And that’s why Scott Fraser came off as his calf has also been tightening up late on in games.
“Everyone else came through OK from Tuesday.”
The Brewers will go into the game playing with confidence after extending their unbeaten run to four games.
Clough said: “We have only lost three now in 19 games which is exceptionally good form when you take into account the Manchester City game as that could have adversely affected the players and everyone more than it did.
“But we put that behind us, got on with the league games and to only lose three says a lot for the mental strength of the players and their character.”
