BURTON Albion fans are being asked to arrive early for Saturday's game as the traditional Lap of Appreciation will take place at 2.40pm - ahead of kick off against Luton at 3pm.
The first team squad will come out of the dressing room to thank fans for their support this season.
This usually takes place after the game but with Luton Town potentially gaining promotion to the Championship it has been decided to do the Lap of Appreciation ahead of kick off.
Brewers fans will also be able to get a look at the next generation of Burton Albion players when the Academy takes part in the Lap of Appreciation.
The Young Brewers will make their way around the Pirelli Stadium pitch ahead of kick-off in the final home game of this season, following the first team squad.
Players and staff from the under 9s to under 18s will be introduced to the Pirelli Stadium crowd as they take part in the Lap of Appreciation, which the Academy also did last year at our home game against Bolton Wanderers.
Manager Nigel Clough, the first team staff and first team players will lead the Lap of Appreciation before kick-off, to allow Luton Town the chance to celebrate at full-time, should they earn promotion,
This means that Academy graduates such as Ben Fox, Marcus Harness and Reece Hutchinson will walk around the pitch at the same time as the players they are inspiring!
Nigel Clough said: "I hope our fans will arrive early so we can all show our appreciation for their support this season. We are delighted that the Academy teams will be joining us."
Academy Head of Coaching Hannah Dingley said: "We are delighted that our Academy players will be able to experience the matchday atmosphere of the Pirelli Stadium and celebrate the season with our fantastic fans.
"It is inspirational for the young players to see all the Academy graduates playing in the first team and it will be a wonderful experience for them to parade round the pitch with them on Saturday afternoon.”
