DON'T forget - this Saturday's game at home to Bristol Rovers is our designated Family Fun Day with plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy!
The Brewers held two Family Days last year – one against Bristol Rovers and a second in February against Fleetwood Town – with both proving big hits with families, kids and parents alike!
We will have a range of fun activities for young Brewers fans at the Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) Centre and 3G pitch, starting at 1.30pm - including face painting, football on the 3G pitch, Burton Albion colouring competitions competitions, inflatables and the chance to meet and write letters to Billy and Bettie Brewer – all for free!
It is the perfect day out for the family and, of course, will be followed by the football just a short walk away at the Pirelli Stadium, with the Brewers taking on Rovers at 3pm!
Matt Hancock, Head of Community at Burton Albion Community Trust, said: “We were glad to see so many people enjoying our Family Days last year and we really wanted to host another one as soon as we could this season!
“Billy and Bettie are very much looking forward to welcoming all families to the Community Centre for our planned pre-match activities ahead of what we’re sure will be another entertaining game for the first-team on Saturday afternoon!
“We look forward to seeing everyone on August 31.”
