BURTON Albion have an exciting opportunity to join our EFL League One football club and are looking to recruit a Football Secretary to manage and oversee all matters relating to governance and logistics for all player administration in line with FA and EFL guidelines, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented in line with best practice.
Within this role you will be required to take a lead on club Safeguarding matters to ensure policies are maintained and communicated together with administration support for the club’s Academy.
Applicants must have the relevant knowledge and experience of contracts and legal documents together with a sound financial awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. Impeccable planning and organisational skills, efficiency and effectiveness are also a requisite for the role.
Applicants must work well as part of a team and must have excellent communication skills, and able to communicate at all levels.
Previous experience within a sports or football industry would be a strong advantage, together with a high level of dedication and commitment to go that extra mile with the ability to stay calm and composed under pressure is essential.
