FANS URGED BY CHAIRMAN TO BACK THE BREWERS IN EMIRATES FA CUP CLASH

30 December 2019

BURTON Albion fans are being urged to turn out in force to back the Brewers in the FA Cup Third Round.

Albion take on League Two side Northampton Town on Sunday (kick off 2.01pm) looking to book a place in the Fourth Round for only the second time in the club’s history.

Northampton fans could well sell out the away seating areas and terrace and, so far, have bought more tickets than home supporters.

Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson said: “It’s disappointing that more visiting than home supporters have bought tickets for what is a very important game for the club.

“The Third Round of the FA Cup is a massive game for Burton Albion and Nigel Clough and the team need our supporters to help them pull off another cup success.

“We have also held the prices at the same level charged for our First Round replay against Salford to keep it affordable for our fans.

“I want to thank those fans who have already bought tickets and you can pay for terrace admission at the turnstiles on the day, but I hope that now Christmas is out of the way our supporters will look to buy tickets in advance for this big game.”

You can back the Brewers in our Emirates FA Cup tie for just £10 for an adult’s terrace ticket and we can confirm that the Don Amott Stand (West) will be open for this fixture, as well as the UK Waterproofing Solutions Stand (Popside).

Prices are as follows:

TERRACE:

All adults: £10

Under-17s: £5

SEATED:

All adults: £12

Under-17s: £7

You can purchase your tickets via our online ticket store, by calling 01283 565938 or by visiting the Club Shop at the Pirelli Stadium during normal opening hours.
