PREVIEW: AFC WIMBLEDON VS BREWERS

AFTER three league draws in a row, the Brewers will be hoping to claim a victory against bottom of the league AFC Wimbledon this afternoon.

HEAD 2 HEAD 

Of their nine meetings, Albion have come out on top three. Wimbledon have also won three times and there have been three draws.

The Brewers picked up an important 3-0 win when the two sides met earlier in the season. Highlights and the match report from that game can be found here.

 

BURTON ALBION TEAM NEWS 

There are no major injury concerns for Albion although at least two players will miss today’s trip to Wimbledon.

John Brayford is suspended after picking a red card against Oxford and Ben Fox has a hamstring niggle.

New on-loan signing Alex Bradley will come into the squad.

 

AFC WIMBLEDON TEAM NEWS 

Andy Barcham has returned to full training but Saturday’s game could come too soon for both him and striker James Hanson.

 

OFFICIALS 

Andy Haines has refereed seven League One games this season and has shown 28 yellow cards, two red cards and given three penalties.

His assistants are Leigh Crowhurst and Kevin Howick, while the fourth official is Nicholas Cooper.
