BREWERS TRIO VISIT COMMUNITY SOCCER SCHOOL IN UTTOXETER

20 February 2019

BREWERS players Ben Fox, Jack Livesey and on-loan Josh Clarke have been in attendance at Burton Albion Community Trust’s (BACT) Soccer Schools in Uttoxeter.

The day, which was run in partnership with Rocester FC at Windsor Park Middle School, was delivered by BACT coaches including former Brewers star Jimmy Phillips.

More than 20 children were in attendance at the Uttoxeter session, which gives children the chance to play football on a daily basis during the half-term break.

The players were on hand to join in with matches, pose for photographs and sign autographs, also taking on a question and answers session with the excited youngsters.

Scott Taylor, Head of Football Development at BACT, said: "It’s great that we can continue as far and wide as Uttoxeter.

"We aim to continue to grow the brand of the club as far as possible and by having first team players join us, we believe that it can only help what we are trying to do."

To book on to any of the remaining half-term courses in Uttoxeter or Burton, as well as any of the other sessions that BACT delivers, please visit www.officialsoccerschools.co.uk/burtonalbion/ or email scott.taylor@burtonalbionct.org for more information.
