CENTRAL defender Kyle McFadzean has praised Brewers goalkeeper Brad Collins as the team’s good performances continue.

Collins, on-loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, has kept five clean sheets since New Year’s Day, helping the Brewers to a sixth consecutive league game without defeat.

McFadzean said: “I think he is coming in with games in him, he is a young lad who is getting better and better with every game he plays.

“You can see he is commanding his box better and his kicking is really good - I just think he is getting better.”

Kyle also cited Brad Collins’ physical attributes as key to his good form, and hoped he can use these to better affect as the season-end draws near.

“He is a big lad”, added McFadzean.

“[He has] presence and he should use that more, he is six foot, four inches tall!”
