MCFADZEAN LOOKS FORWARD TO RETURN TO THE PIRELLI

22 February 2019

BURTON Albion defender Kyle McFadzean is looking forward to a return to the Pirelli Stadium tomorrow.

Fleetwood Town are the first visitors of back-to-back home games (3pm kick-off), with Walsall arriving at the Pirelli a week later.

And centre-half McFadzean says he and the team are looking forward to being back on home soil.

"It will be nice to be at home in front of the fans," said McFadzean.

"We had a good following at Barnsley, so let’s bring these draws into wins at home."

McFadzean says he is keen to translate the Brewers' good away form into home form too.

On the road, Albion are unbeaten in 2019, with our only league defeat of this calendar year coming in a 3-2 reverse at home to Gillingham.

And with seven draws from the last 10 matches played in League One, McFadzean knows the importance of turning one point into three, particularly at the Pirelli.

"We are drawing but we would like to get wins," added the defender.

"Before we were losing games, so we need to make them into wins.

"We can’t come away (from home) and keep getting a point. We need to pick our home form up and get three points on Saturday."
