BURTON Albion will again be joining forces with Uttoxeter Racecourse for a summer family event.
The Family Fun Raceday will take place on Sunday, July 28, with a host of activities for youngsters as well as a full day of racing.
Burton Albion’s first team squad and the club’s charity Burton Albion Community Trust will be at the event with five of the races being sponsored by the club.
It is all part of the continuing partnership between Burton Albion and Uttoxeter Racecourse.
We recently announced that Uttoxeter Racecourse has chosen Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) to be its charity of the year for 2019.
Throughout the year there will be 10 different race events that BACT will be fundraising at with the aim of generating funds to enable BACT to deliver even more programmes in the Uttoxeter area.
Burton Albion Commercial Director Fleur Robinson said: “We are delighted to continue our great partnership with Uttoxeter Racecourse, and we look forward to this annual family summer event.
“We hope to see as many of our supporters as possible joining us for a great family day out.

“There will be plenty of action taking place on the day with seven races, plus lots of children’s entertainment including a meet and greet with Peter Rabbit, inflatables and a fun fair.
