INJURY UPDATE: WALSALL

27 February 2019

SCOTT Fraser is the only injury doubt for the Brewers ahead of Saturday’s home game with Walsall (kick off 3pm).

The midfielder was a sub on Saturday after carrying a couple of knocks but has also been feeling unwell this week.

Albion manager Nigel Clough said: “It’s because of the knocks that he didn’t start on Saturday but hopefully he wll be OK for Walsall. But otherwise we are looking OK and nearly fully fit.”

The Brewers will be playing a friendly today against Crewe at St George’s Park that will give the squad players who need it game time.

Clough said: “Lee Bell is bringing his Under 23s. It will give the likes of Ben Fox and Josh Clarke who are coming back from injury a chance to play. And Joe Sbarra, Reece Hutchinson and Kieran Wallace need a game to keep them ticking over.

“It has been predominately the same 12/13 players out there and the others need a game at this stage of the season."
