MORE than 20 companies attended he latest Club Albion networking event which introduced firms to the work of Burton Albion Community Trust.
BACT Head of Community Matt Hancock was the guest speaker who explained about the diverse range of programmes the charity operates which make a major difference in the community.
He said: “It was great to meet Club Albion members and explain about the work of the trust and how they can engage with us and become our partners on various projects.
“We can help firms find a focus for their Corporate Social Responsibility ambitions and we have already received some great feedback.”
Raj Athwal, who organises Club Albion for Burton Albion FC said: “We were delighted to see so many of our members attend the latest event.
“As well as the traditional type of business networking events we have also looked at other topics such as health and well being at work and now, through our community trust, CSR opportunities partnering with the club charity.”
