INJURY UPDATE: GILLINGHAM

11 January 2019

STEPHEN Quinn is Nigel Clough's biggest injury concern ahead of tomorrow's home League One game against Gillingham (kick off 3pm).

The influential midfielder missed the trip to Manchester City on Wednesay with a groin injury and remains a doubt.

Brewers manager Nigel Clough said: "He's probably 50:50 for tomorrow. Hopefully we can get him back out there.

"Marvin Sordell will still be out and Kyle McFadzean has had one training session so he will see how he is.

"David Templeton has had a migraine over night so will miss training this morning. Jake Buxton is sore from a couple of whacks on Wednesday and Ben Turner a bit sore with his calf.

"But we got Jamie Allen, Liam Boyce and Scott Fraser off the pitch on Wednesday and they are all in good shape to start.

"We don't want the Manchester City result to have an affect tomorrow and on the remaining games of the season. We have to get over it very quickly.

"There is a few feeling it physically and mentally it was very challenging but we are hoping most of the lads will be OK."
