STRIKER Devante Cole has returned to Wigan after he was recalled from his loan spell with the Brewers.
The 23-year-old played 13 League One games for Albion and scored twice, with his last Brewers goal coming against Walsall in early November.
Cole joined the club in August on a season-long loan deal, but the former Fleetwood Town forward has now returned to the DW Stadium after being recalled from his loan spell with Burton Albion.
Nigel Clough said: "Our thanks go to Devante for his efforts during his spell here. He didn't quite get the number of games he might have liked due to the fine form of Lucas Akins but when he got on the pitch made an impact and we appreciate his contribution.
"He goes back to Wigan with our best wishes."
