MARVIN Sordell has joined Northampton Town on loan until the end of the season.
The striker has been struggling with a knee injury picked up in the FA Cup tie at Scunthorpe in early November and hasn’t played since.
But he has returned to training his week and is looking to get some game time at the League Two club.
He has played 13 league games for the Brewers in a stop-start season, scoring twice.
Nigel Clough said: “He has been out for a while now and we have had to manage without him so it’s a good idea for him to go out and get some games between now and the end of the season.”
