BURTON Albion's first team and academy squads have arrived back for their first day of training ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Players and staff arrived at the Pirelli Stadium early on Monday morning to begin their preparations for the new season, heading up to St George's Park for a series of assessments on their fitness.
Tests for The Brewers players included a yo-yo test in the morning, which is a multi-stage fitness test, very similar to the bleep test.
An afternoon session consisted of fartlek training, which is a continuous run with sprints included throughout.
