BURTON Albion has hosted an induction evening for players within our ladies football system.
Ranging from under-11s to under-16s, players from both the foundation and youth phase came along to meet their coaches and find out where they will be playing for the forthcoming 2019/20 season.
“It was really exciting to meet so many young women ahead of the new season, one which promises to be a new era for Burton Albion Ladies,” said Commercial Director Fleur Robinson, who spoke to the young players and parents on the evening.
“With the senior team getting ready for the new FA Women’s National League season too, we can’t wait to see how the foundation and youth phase get on and develop this season.
“We hope everyone found it an informative evening - playing for Burton Albion Ladies is the perfect opportunity for young players to develop their footballing abilities.”
