THE Brewers will be sending a strong squad to Matlock Town tomorrow for the opening pre-season game.
Nigel Clough has named a squad of 20 for the fixture which includes 18-year-old triallist Callum Dolan, who was with Altrincham last season.
The Brewers manager has a few injury niggles and won’t risk any of the players carrying knocks.
He said: “Stephen Quinn got a bang on the head yesterday and won’t be risked and Reece Hutchinson has a slight problem with his thigh.”
David Templeton isn’t far enough recovered from his long-term injury to be included.
Clough says: “He’s joining in now but is not quite ready for a game.”
The Albion manager is happy to be able to go back to Matlock this summer.
He said: “It was a shame we had to cancel last season’s game with the injury problems, so we are looking forward to going back this year.
“It has always been a good game and a good crowd in recent years, so we are looking forward to it.”
