BURTON Albion can confirm that we will be playing Premier League side Sheffield United in a pre-season friendly at the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday, July 16th.
The Tuesday evening fixture will be a 7.45pm kick-off and will be the first time the two sides have met since March 2018 in the Championship.
Chris Wilder's Blades finished second in the Championship over 2018/19, taking 89 points and earning automatic promotion to the top flight.
The Brewers have also confirmed this week pre-season fixtures AWAY at Matlock Town (July 13), Solihull Moors (July 23), Mickleover Sports (Burton Albion XI - July 24), Chesterfield (July 27) and Nuneaton Borough (Burton Albion XI - July 29).
