INJURY UPDATE: DONCASTER ROVERS

1 November 2019

NIGEL Clough is waiting on fitness reports of three of his first team squad ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Doncaster (kick off 3pm).

Richard Nartey missed Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie with a hamstring problem; Reece Hutchinson had to come off with an injury and Nathan Broadhead felt his ankle after the game.

Brewers manager Nigel Clough said: “They are all doubts for tomorrow. Nathan hurt his ankle just before half-time when he went for a diving header and their lad fell on him. He managed to finish the game, but it swelled up quite badly after.

“Reece came off with his thigh/hip flexor problem and we will have to see how he is.

“Stephen Quinn has just played two games in four days after coming back from injury so we will have to see how he recovers.”

Lucas Akins was suspended on Tuesday but is back in contention tomorrow.

Clough said: “I’m not sure where he would have got in the team the other night. He would have played somewhere but we would have to have left someone out which wouldn’t have been easy - but he will certainly play at Doncaster.”
