BURTON Albion Football Club will be opening the Don Amott Stand to home fans for our Carabao Cup Fourth Round tie against Leicester City after supporters responded to a call to back the Brewers.
The game takes place at the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday, October 29, (7.45pm kick-off). Leicester have sold out of their allocation of tickets and the club was considering offering them the Don Amott Stand.
But the number of terrace tickets purchased by home fans for the UK Waterproofing Solutions Stand (popside) has increased considerably meaning that the traditional home end will be open to Albion supporters as well.
All seats for both home and away fans are sold out.
Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson said: “The majority of tickets for the UK Waterproofing Solutions Stand have now been sold and so we have decided to open up the Don Amott stand to our supporters as well.
“Anyone who has bought tickets for the UK Waterproofing Solutions Stand who wishes to transfer to the Don Amott Stand will be able to do so.
“I want to thank the supporters for their patience as we have worked through the best ticketing arrangements for this game which promises to be another great Pirelli Stadium cup tie.”
Fans who hold tickets for the UK Waterproofing Solutions Stand who wish to move to the Don Amott Stand can do so any day next week. They will need to bring their ticket to the club shop between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday (October 21 -25). Fans can also exchange tickets after Tuesday’s home game against Wimbledon (no exchanges can be done between 5.30pm and kick off). We do expect there to be queues at busy times so fans are asked to allow time and be patient.
Terrace ticket prices for the game are as follows:
Senior (65-plus): £16
Young Person (17-22): £13
Earlybird tickets are available up until 5pm the day before each matchday. Tickets purchased after this time will incur a £2.00 increase in price.
Please note – there will be no cash on the turnstiles admission for the game.
Tickets can be purchased in person in the Club Shop, over the phone by calling 01283 565938 or online HERE.
