MATCH PREVIEW: CREWE

2 September 2019

THE Brewers will kick-off their first match in the Leasing.com Trophy competition against Crewe tomorrow (kick off 7.30pm).

HEAD 2 HEAD

The last time the Brewers met Crewe was back in 2016 and this resulted in a 1-1 draw for Burton after Lucas Akins scored in the 35th minute to equalise. Since then however, Crewe were relegated in last place in the 2015/16 season to join League Two. Both teams are in Northern Group E of the Leasing.com Trophy alongside Everton under 21s and Mansfield.
