YOUNG BREWERS SET TO FACE WORCESTER CITY IN THE FA YOUTH CUP

7 December 2020

BURTON Albion’s Youth Team will play their first round FA Youth Cup tie against Worcester City tomorrow evening at the Pirelli Stadium (8 Dec).

The tie will be played behind closed doors and will kick off at 7.30pm.

Live updates on how the Young Brewers are getting on will be available to follow via the club’s official Twitter feed (@burtonalbionfc).

Sam Rose, Professional Development Phase Lead Coach, who will be leading the side from the touchline, said: “The FA Youth Cup is a great competition which all the scholars look forward to each year.

“Despite supporters not being able to attend, it’s still a great opportunity for both sides to play at the Pirelli Stadium and one we hope that our players will relish.

“We’re happy with how the side have started this season so far and having watched Worcester’s previous round win against Rugby Town, our lads know that they’ll have to be at the top of their game in order to progress to the next round.”
