SAM Rose was pleased with both the victory and performance from the Burton Albion Youth Team last night, as the Young Brewers progressed into the second round of the FA Youth Cup.
Following the 4-1 victory over Worcester City at the Pirelli Stadium, Rose's side will now face either Bugbrooke St Michaels or Mansfield Town in the second round (tie to be played on 10 December).
Following the game, Rose said: “We’re pleased with the result and the performance, particularly the second half.
“We got better as the game went on, played some good football and scored good goals.
“We’re all now looking forward to the second round and building on what we’ve shown tonight.”
