INJURY UPDATE: PETERBOROUGH UNITED (H)

26 February 2020

NIGEL Clough has outlined the potential doubts ahead of this weekend’s fixture at home to Peterborough United.

Despite the long distance back-to-back away games against Ipswich Town and Southend United, the manager says that almost "everybody has come through okay."

Of those who are doubts, Richard Nartey was substituted in the second half against Ipswich Town with a calf problem, and the Brewers manager has provided an update on the Chelsea-loanee's fitness:

“Richard Nartey is still struggling, he is back at Chelsea having treatment but we are hoping he will be back for training next week.”

Further doubts ahead of this weekend’s fixture against Peterborough United are Stephen Quinn, John Brayford and Jake Buxton.

“Stephen Quinn took a couple of knocks and his groin is an ongoing problem.

“John Brayford took a whack on his knee [against Southend], so those two are the main ones.

“Jake Buxton is continuing his recovery from his ribs, so he does a bit of training but it is how he feels day-to-day with those.”
