FIRST team players Kieran O’Hara and John-Joe O’Toole have visited River View Primary School in Stapenhill, as part of a celebration event to reward pupils for their hard work and progression in PE lessons.
Both players took time out to visit the school following training, and spent time offering advice to the star pupils and their parents about a fit and healthy lifestyle, as well as talking about their early life and success in the professional game.
The players then joined the award winners in a whole school assembly, presenting awards and posing for photographs.
Matt Hancock, Head of Community, said: “It was great that we could have two players representing Burton Albion at this event.
“River View Primary is one of our main partner schools and we are delighted that we could support them in making awards to their pupils who have been extra special over the past couple of months."
