LIFETIME Burton Albion supporter, Anton Williams, has made a donation to Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) in order to purchase a matchday programme from a fixture that never happened.
Burton Albion were due to play Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday 14 March prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, in which the club had already purchased its usual allocation of matchday programmes before the game was cancelled.
Following Mr Williams enquiry to purchase a programme, he suggested the idea of selling the programmes to fans at the usual £3 price, with an option to make an added donation towards supporting the work of BACT in the local community. He kindly donated £10 in total to purchase this historic programme.
After 11 weeks of forced closure due to Covid-19, Brewers fans will now be able to purchase the programme from the game, in store and via the online store (click here), from Monday 15 June.
The programme cost is £3, with all donations (only available in store) welcomed to support the tremendous work of BACT.
All other club merchandise will also be available in store from the above date. The Club Shop will be open on Mondays and Fridays, from 8.30am-5.30pm until further notice.
