DIE-hard Brewers supporters Martin and Ben Vickers have enjoyed a behind-the-scenes experience at Burton Albion after winning a Sky Bet EFL Rewards competition.
The father and son are life-long Albion supporters and their prize included a chance to watch the Brewers first team train at St George's Park, meet the manager and have lunch with the players at the Pirelli Stadium.
Martin has been following the Brewers for more than 40 years and has seen the club rise from non-league all the way to the Championship. Despite being only 21, Ben has been supporting the club for more than ten years.
Martin and Ben were guests of the Burton Albion media team, who explained to them about operations on and off the pitch at the Pirelli Stadium.
Before they left, the pair each received a signed shirt that was presented to them by Nigel Clough.
Ben said: "It was the Skybet EFL Rewards app competition where you spin a wheel and if you are lucky you win a prize. I never expected to win but it has been really enjoyable.
"It was great to see the facilities at St George's Park, watch the players train and to meet the lads as well as talk to the manager."
Martin said: "It was an excellent experience, especially having lunch with the lads and Jake Buxton giving us waiter service.
"We will be at Lincoln now on Saturday and hopeully there will be some more points in the bag."
