CONOR Shaughnessy is Nigel Clough’s biggest injury doubt ahead of the trip to Lincoln City on Saturday.
The defender missed Saturday’s home game against Peterborough with a hamstring injury and Clough will be waiting on fitness reports later this week.
The manager said: “Conor is probably 50-50 at the moment but it’s that time of the season where if you risk him he could miss the majority of the rest of the season if it’s a six-week hamstring so we will see how he is doing.”
Richard Nartey is also currently on the treatment table back at his parent club.
Clough said: “Richard isn’t back from Chelsea yet although he will be at some point this week or early next week.”
Kieran Wallace is also trying to shake off a couple of niggles.
Clough said: “Kieran Wallace picked up a couple of knocks so he’s the only other doubt so we will be OK.”
Jake Buxton was on the bench on Saturday after making progress on his rib injury.
Clough said: “It’s good to have Jake back on the bench but he’s still not 100 per cent yet.”
Lincoln will be going into the game on the back of a two-week break.
Clough said: “You never know whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing and we have just got to get on with it. Darren Ferguson said he had given Peterborough a few days off (before we played them) but then he didn’t think physically they were as good as they had been. It can work two ways and you never know until the day.”
