BURTON Albion has hosted its second annual Cheltenham Festival raceday event at the Pirelli Stadium.
Those attending our Cheltenham event were able to watch all of the races on the big screen, as well as place bets with licensed bookmaker Stevie Stretch, enjoying a delicious four-course meal with full table service and with compere Dave Bryon providing entertainment between races.
There was a prize for best-dressed male and female respectively, chosen amongst the guests.
The event also supported Burton Albion Community Trust, with a cheque for £955.58 raised during the day being presented to the Trust.
Burton Albion Commercial Director Fleur Robinson said: “It was fantastic to hold another successful Cheltenham Festival event here at the Pirelli Stadium.
"Our horse-racing events continue to go from strength-to-strength, with the help of all the staff at the Pirelli Stadium and bookmaker Stevie Stretch. It was brilliant for such a generous amount to be donated back to BACT at the end of the day's racing.
“We trust that everyone has enjoyed their day, and we look forward to holding our next racing event at the Pirelli Stadium on June 18, as our ever-popular Ascot Ladies Day event returns again for 2020.”
