NEW UPDATE FROM BURTON ALBION COMMUNITY TRUST

BURTON Albion Community Trust has issued a further update following the latest advice over coronavirus.

BACT has already announced the suspension of the delivery of all sessions to all vulnerable groups with immediate effect.

This includes all disability and health sessions which deliver activity to groups of older adults and to anyone with underlying health conditions as BACT’s duty of care remains paramount.

In addition, following the latest Government advice regarding social distancing more sessions have been suspended.

Those previously announced

- Care Home sessions (Uttoxeter)

- Walking Football

- Active Recovery

- Able Too Albion

- Junior Disability

- Powerchair Football

- Bereavement help point

- Fit Brewers

- Inspiring your futures

- Walking Football Forum

Newly announced as suspended:

- Burton Albion Ladies

- Wildcats

- Advanced Development Centres/Player Development Centres

- Football Fundamentals

- Nursery Sessions

- Football and Education Training sessions

- Holiday Camps

- KICKS

- All pitch bookings at Anglesey Community Football Centre and at the Burton Albion Community Football Centre

- Fit Fans

- Working in Football

 

The only sessions still in operation are in education and employability:

- School Sessions/Alt Education

- Employability

In line with Government recommendations BACT is reducing staff to a skeleton level and encouraging staff to work at home but phones and emails will continue to be monitored.
